Kollektenzwecke / Charity Collections
In case several of the church services do not take place, if you wish to make a donation to the charities that we usually support in the next three months, please send a cheque payable to any of your choice and send it either directly to the charity concerned (addresses on relevant charity website) or to the church treasurer, Barbara Botradi-Bullman, to forward on charity donations.
In April collections are made for a choice of 4 charities that provide hospice care: “St. Nicholas Hospice Care” (Bury St. Edmunds), “St. Luke’s Hospice” (Basildon, Essex), “St. Elizabeth Hospice Suffolk” (Ipswich) and “Priscilla Bacon Lodge Support Group” (Norwich).
In May collections are made to support the work of our own church
In June collections are made for a choice of 3 charities in our region that support children and adults with disabilities: “Welfare Centre Phab Club” (Norwich), “EACH” (East Anglian Children’s Hospice) and “Little Havens Children’s Hospice” (Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex).
Donations in Wills
Leaving the German-Speaking Lutheran Church in East Anglia (Evangelische Lutherische Kirche deutscher Sprache in Ostengland) a gift in your will is one of the most valuable and lasting ways that you can support us.
The building work in 2016/2017 to provide disabled access at the Church House in Cambridge has been the biggest and most important alteration we have done.
It is for the benefit of all members of the church, even those that live further away, since many people in the whole region enjoy coming together for the larger annual services at Cambridge.
Any future donations and gifts, like those in a will, would help to make up for the cost of the disabled access and thereby help the church finances to be able to carry out all its pastoral and spiritual work in the future, just as at present.
In seelsorgerischen Angelegenheiten bitte an Pfarrerin Diemut Cramer wenden, Tel. 0161 865 1335
